ORIG 1922 ROYAL TAILORS JUMBO COLORED PRINT MENS ELEGANT SUITS MINT #2 ART DECO

Description

This is #2 of a group of 15 quality prints being listed.  I have just acquired a jumbo professional catalog made by and for Royal Tailors of New York and Chicago, obviously a company producing clothing for a more elite public.  The cost of producing this catalog had to be very significant and provided to the most discerning and wealthy tailors and customers.  NOTE: The catalog as I found it had all of the sample clothing strips removed from it, so it was not as originally produced or intended.  However, about 15 of the original colored photoengravings remained in mint condition, only 3 having hand written notations which actually enhance the authenticity of the engravings.  Each image is printed on
stiff paper/poster board.
The colors have not faded.  There are no tears, no indents, no bumped corners, no stains or mildew/foxing.  Each one measures 20 3/4" x 16", ready for framing.  Any of these will make a distinct and commanding colored image for decorative and/or educational purposes.  Their size, condition and coloring is impressive.  There was no indication of what artist had created the images, but he or she was clearly a talented professional.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE for more from the catalog, and other interesting items.
